Physical therapy is a type of treatment to address pain, improve mobility, restore function and reduce risk of disability. There are various subspecialties of physical therapy including orthopedic, lymphatic, vestibular, pelvic health, neurological, etc.

Physical therapists are movement experts, trained to help people live healthy and active lives, at any age. Selected interventions are chosen from evidence-based research, patient response, and the experience of the clinician (so be sure to seek out a knowledgable therapist!)
